FAQ

MLS Coverage Questions

Common questions about Oregon MLS coverage and listing your property.

Your property should be listed on the MLS that covers your geographic area. We'll automatically determine the correct MLS based on your property's location. Some areas may have overlapping coverage, and we can advise on the best strategy. Generally: Portland metro = RMLS, Salem/Eugene area = WVMLS, Bend/Central Oregon = COMLS, Medford/Ashland = SOMLS, and coastal cities = OCMLS.
In most cases, your property only needs to be listed on the MLS that serves your area. However, for properties in border areas between MLS regions, listing on multiple systems may increase exposure. For example, a property in Yamhill County might benefit from both RMLS and WVMLS coverage. Contact us to discuss your specific situation—we can advise whether dual listing makes sense for your property.
Yes, our flat fee pricing is the same regardless of which Oregon MLS your property is listed on. There are no additional fees for rural areas, specific MLS systems, or properties outside the Portland metro. A listing in Bend, Medford, or the coast costs the same as a listing in Lake Oswego.
Yes, all five Oregon MLS systems syndicate to major consumer portals including Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin, Trulia, and Homes.com. Your listing will receive the same online exposure regardless of which Oregon MLS it's listed on. The syndication process is automatic once your listing goes live.
