Home Energy Score Report (required for Portland, OR properties)
HOME ENERGY SCORE REPORT REQUIREMENT
All sellers of single-family homes (certain style condos/townhomes/covered buildings included, with exception) within Portland's jurisdiction are required to obtain and disclose a Home Energy Score report when listing their property.
For more detailed information and for a list of certified home energy assessors, please visit: https://www.pdxhes.com/. Cost for Home Energy Reports can vary based on size of your property and which assessor you choose.
If your property requires a Home Energy Score report and you have not yet obtained one, you are still welcome to proceed on our site with the listing process, but you must eventually provide us with a report prior to us being able to activate your listing on the multiple listing service and its syndicated sites. If you have already obtained your Home Energy Score report, please feel free to upload it here.

Buyer's Agent Commission (BAC)
Starting January 2024, due to recent changes in MLS rules, you can list your property with zero commission for the buyer's agent. However, remember that offering a competitive commission is a key incentive for agents to show and sell your home. Choosing a lower or no commission could lead to fewer showings and potentially impact your property's sale prospects. It's important to balance this when deciding on the commission to offer.
Third Party Approval Required
Select "Yes" if your listing has both of the following features: a) the Seller does not have the authority to close a sale without approval of a lender, bankruptcy court or other 3rd Party; b) if closed at the listed price, there would not be sufficient funds to satisfy or fully discharge all liens and closing costs, including commissions. Note: 3rd Party to Transaction will automatically be selected if "Yes" is selected on this field.

Finance Terms

Please be sure your property qualifies for the term(s) you select. Example: if you have a condo and select FHA Loan as a term, please be sure to confirm your condo qualifies for FHA financing.
